THE PERMUTATION MAP
The Permutation Map is basically a map that can plot levels and positions for “Sovereignty.” Where sovereignty is held by governments, religious entities, secular entities, tribal entities or, individuals.
The map has polar-opposites. From the top you have the extreme of total authoritarian power, and at the bottom you have the total removal of any organized sovereignty and/or any authoritative law structure. On the right you have “Conservative Order” and on the left you have the “Absence of Conservative Order.” The “Absence of Conservative Order” in essence is the “Liberal Tradition” yet the more you move “higher on the map” the “Liberal Tradition” becomes entangled with various kinds of organized authoritarian intervention.
sovereignty, colors, and symbols
This map is color coded, and the colors are arbitrarily assigned, but have specific meaning in this “Permutation Model.” They are at a glance a visual reminder of what kind of configuration models you are dealing with. The more you can recognize the symbols, then the more you will recognize the colors in relationship to the “Permutation Symbols” inside the various regions of the map.
This map has “Permutation Symbols” that appear all around the edges of the map, and each “Permutation Symbol” is a visual representation of various forms of “Organized Political Means” or “Societal Configurations.”
Some of these configurations have existed in history, and some are structurally ideological.
This map also has “Intervention Symbols” as well, which are”a Spider, a Jail, a Spiral, a Horn, and a Leviathan.”
Here are their general meanings:
Spider – Intervention in the name of safety.
Jail – Intervention in the name of morality.
Spiral – Intervention in the name of fairness.
Horn – Embraced intervention.
Leviathan – Despotism – despotic control.
Keep in mind that the horn can grow from the Spider, Jail or Spiral.
Keep in mind that the Leviathan can consume any of these positions with more authoritarian control.
